Parenting Advice
Feb 8th, 2009 by Ahmie

This is the main section of this site, the reason it exists – advice combed from various sources (including my own logic about how our ancestors might have handled the challenges of parenting), that seems to have worked well for my own children as well as those of others I’ve interacted with.  There is no official guidebook to parenting, this is just what has worked for one family and to be used as a reference as you make your own decisions. YOU are the expert on your child(ren) and your household, this is just here so you can see what has worked for others when you’re feeling a little lost or overwhelmed. Do what works for you, even if it’s totally opposite of what is recommended here, and love your child no matter what – that is the only necessary ingredient after food, shelter, and first aid.
